Biography
La-Deidre counsels private sector, government and municipal clients throughout the litigation process.
She has particular experience assisting clients with obtaining zoning and permitting approvals from governmental bodies for mixed-use, office, retail, industrial, residential and municipal projects. She also advises local governments in real estate disputes.
Before Fox Rothschild
Prior to joining Fox Rothschild, La-Deidre was an associate in the Litigation Defense and Land Use divisions of a law firm with offices throughout the South. During law school, she worked as a public policy intern for the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law and an extern for the North Carolina Office of the Attorney General and the Honorable Cheri Beasley of the North Carolina Supreme Court. She also worked as a liaison for a jury management company. After earning her law degree, La-Deidre conducted legal research as a Postdoctoral Legal Fellow for the Office of General Counsel at UNC-Chapel Hill.
In law school, La-Deidre was a member of the UNC Law Broun National Trial Team, President of the Education Law and Policy Society, a Parliamentarian for the Student Bar Association and a research assistant for the Youth Justice Clinic.
