Fox Rothschild welcomes Marilyn Sonnie to the New York office as counsel in the Corporate Department.

A highly experienced corporate and mergers and acquisitions lawyer, Sonnie finds strategic legal solutions to her clients' problems based on their specific business goals, saving them time and money.

Sonnie maintains clear and constant communications with her clients, guiding them through all stages of their corporate life. She regularly advises public and private companies, investors and equity holders in:

•    Mergers and acquisitions, including of government contractors
•    Restructurings and distressed company transactions 
•    Joint ventures
•    Commercial contracts
•    Corporate governance
•    Early-stage capital raises
•    Corporate Transparency Act compliance

Sonnie earned her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and her B.S. from Johns Hopkins University.

Prior to joining Fox, Sonnie was counsel at Shulman Rogers and a partner at Jones Day.
