Biography
Mary is Managing Partner of the Atlanta Office. Her practice centers on estate and gift planning, trust and estate administration, business succession, and charitable planning for high-net-worth individuals and their families.
She guides her clients in designing and implementing strategies that minimize exposure to income and transfer taxes, creditors, and divorce. In crafting tax and estate plans, Mary also addresses clients’ personal needs, goals, and family dynamics and implements efficiencies where possible.
Experienced and well versed in the latest tax strategies, Mary is a practical, creative problem solver. She explains complex estate planning concepts clearly and in understandable terms. Mary earns her clients’ respect and appreciation with her care, communication skills, attention to detail, depth of knowledge, and wisdom.
Beyond Fox Rothschild
Mary is an officer of two private foundations that provide financial support to charities in the Atlanta region and beyond. She was a member of the Philanthropic Advisor Leadership Institute Class of 2008-2009, served on the Planned Giving Advisory Board for the Greater Atlanta Community Foundation, and is a member of the Leadership Atlanta Class of 2012. She has achieved a measure of fame helping authors on trust and estate plot developments in fictional works.
Before Fox Rothschild
Mary was a managing member of Abrams Davis Mason Long, an Atlanta boutique law firm focused on taxation and estate administration that combined with Fox Rothschild in May 2021.
