Biography

A member of the Real Estate Department, Megan's practice is focused on real estate tax appeals.

She regularly represents clients at hearings for commercial and residential property tax appeals before local assessors, boards of review, the Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board and the Circuit Court of Cook County as well as negotiates settlements with township assessors’ offices. Megan also assists clients with tax issues that occur prior to acquiring property.

Before Fox Rothschild

Prior to joining Fox Rothschild, Megan worked as an associate at two Illinois-based law firms.

During law school, Megan worked as law clerk for the City of Joliet Legal Department, where she assisted in prosecuting bench trials, negotiating plea agreements and presenting various motions for municipal ordinance and traffic violations in the Will County Circuit Court. Megan also clerked for a Chicago-based firm, assisting in the preparation of commercial and residential property tax appeals.
