Fox Rothschild congratulates Melanie E. Getz, who was selected as a fellow in the New Jersey State Bar Association’s (NJSBA) 2025-2026 Leadership Academy.

The class includes 14 attorneys from a variety of practice areas in the public and private sectors. The group will participate in programs designed to develop leadership and communication skills. Sessions will also focus on the legislative process, public-sector law, issues confronting the profession, the New Jersey business landscape and more.

An Associate in our Labor & Employment Department, Getz represents clients in a range of business disputes, with a focus on workplace discrimination and retaliation claims. She advises companies and HR professionals on separation and settlement agreements. She also defends employers in the state and federal courts in wage-and-hour litigation, workplace safety and whistleblower matters, and disputes over restrictive covenants, confidentiality clauses and unfair competition claims.

Getz is a trustee of the NJSBA’s Women in the Profession Section, which is dedicated to advancing women’s rights issues. She is also member of the Women in Business Alliance Committee of the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce, Fairleigh Dickinson University Pre-Law Advisory Board, and Sidney Reitman Employment Law American Inn of Court.
