Michael is Co-Chair of the Firm and works closely with firm leadership and the managing partners of each office to craft and carry out organizational strategies.

Beginning as a summer associate, Michael has spent his entire 35-year legal career at Fox Rothschild and has held a variety of leadership positions, including Chair of the Financial Restructuring & Bankruptcy department, Managing Partner for the Philadelphia office and several terms as an elected member of the firm's Executive Committee, where he helped guide the firm's growth from a regional into a 1,000-attorney Am Law 100 firm with 30 offices across the country.

Michael built his reputation as a leading bankruptcy and restructuring lawyer. For 17 consecutive years, Chambers USA has ranked him among the top practitioners in Pennsylvania, including more than a decade at Band 1, its highest ranking.*

He believes leaders are measured not by their strategies but by their outcomes, and that the most important qualities in a lawyer are responsiveness, hard work and honest dealing. Michael is equally passionate about preparing the next generation of lawyers and champions in-office mentorship, making himself accessible to every lawyer in the firm.

Michael is also the founder of the firm's growing Automotive Practice, a team that provides a full range of transactional, corporate and litigation services to automobile dealers.
