Michelle DeLappe and David Papiez will co-present a session on the perspectives of real estate transactional lawyers and property tax lawyers on how appraisers engaged in a transactional setting can help buyers and sellers with potential grounds for challenging their property taxes, and with respect to commercial real estate, how the analysis of lease types (different varieties of NNN, gross and ground leases) found in real life transactions compares to the fee simple interest that must be valued for property taxation, condemnation and other purposes.
