Fox Rothschild congratulates Eric M. Wood and Adam Busler, who were honored at the Atlantic County Bar Association’s Annual Awards dinner on April 11.

Wood, the 139th president of the ACBA, received the Professional Lawyer of the Year Award, which is presented to an attorney who is “respected by their colleagues for their character, competence and exemplary professional behavior.”

He has been a member of the ACBA for over 30 years and has served as a trustee since 2006 and as an officer since 2012.

A commercial litigator, Wood represents clients in a broad range of complex disputes. He is certified as a Civil Trial Attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court and the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He was the former Managing Partner of the firm’s Atlantic City Office and a former member of the Executive Committee.

Busler, a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department, received the Honorable Benjamin A. Rimm Award, presented to a young lawyer who exemplifies personal and professional integrity, devotion to the legal profession and dedication to the people of Atlantic City.

Busler represents and defends clients in commercial disputes and employment disputes. He serves on the Board of Trustees for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children of Atlantic and Cape May Counties, an organization that trains volunteers to speak on behalf of abused and neglected children in the foster care system.

He previously served as a trustee for the Atlantic County Bar Association and is a former chair of its Young Lawyer’s Division.
