C.J. Fisher Named to Philadelphia Business Journal’s ‘40 Under 40’ List
Fox Rothschild LLP congratulates C.J. Fisher on his selection to the coveted annual “40 Under 40” list by the Philadelphia Business Journal, which highlights current and emerging business leaders across various industries in the region.
A partner in Fox’s Gaming Law Practice Group, Fisher has helped shape the revitalization of the Atlantic City casino scene and other pivotal gaming markets throughout the country. He frequently handles licensing, regulatory and compliance matters for a range of industry clients and has been at the forefront of the expansion of legalized and regulated sports betting in the United States. Fisher has also developed a niche practice in the area of online gaming and sports wagering and often advises clients in jurisdictions across the country.
Fisher previously served as Chair of the Casino Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association, leading its efforts to keep members abreast of developments in casino law and advancing the engagement that fosters professional growth. Long an active member of the Casino Law Section, his past leadership roles also include Vice Chair and Treasurer, and he is currently a member of the Board of Trustees. He is also an active member of the International Association of Gaming Advisors and International Masters of Gaming Law, currently serving on the Board of Trustees and Young Members Committee, respectively.
Fisher also serves as an adjunct professor, focusing on Compliance and Licensing in the United States, for the first-ever professional certificate in sports wagering and integrity, which is offered by the University of New Hampshire School of Law.
Outside of the gaming field, Fisher volunteers his time to support the Parkinson Life Center of Southern New Jersey as a member of its Board of Directors, and the Parish of Saint Monica in Atlantic City, New Jersey, where he is currently serving his second 3-year term on its Finance Council.
He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Temple University and his B.S. from Pennsylvania State University.
