Fox Rothschild welcomes Robert S. Beraha as a Partner in the Taxation & Wealth Planning Department in the firm's Miami office.
“Robert has built an impressive practice counseling high-net-worth individuals, families and business owners on sophisticated estate planning and wealth preservation matters,” said Thomas Oppenheimer, Fox’s Miami Office Managing Partner. “His experience in complex transfer tax planning, asset protection and business succession planning will be a tremendous asset to our clients throughout South Florida and beyond. We are delighted to welcome him to Fox.”
Beraha focuses his practice on estate planning, wealth preservation, and trust and estate administration for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. He regularly structures irrevocable life insurance trusts, sales to defective grantor trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts and limited family partnerships as part of sophisticated tax planning engagements.
In addition to his private client practice, Beraha advises closely held business owners on entity formation, organizational structure and business succession planning. He takes a comprehensive and personalized approach to helping clients preserve family wealth and achieve long-term financial objectives.
Beraha earned his LL.M. in Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law, his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law and his B.A. from the University of Florida.
