Fox Rothschild Represents Unsecured Creditors’ Committee in Confirmation of Francesca’s Chapter 11 Plan
Fox Rothschild represented the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in the chapter 11 case of Francesca’s Acquisition pending in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey. On September 8, 2026, Judge Mark E. Hall confirmed the Debtors’ and Official Committee’s Joint Plan of Liquidation and the confirmation order was entered on September 10, 2026.
The confirmed Plan provides for the formation of a liquidation trust to distribute remaining value to creditors and preserves causes of action for the benefit of creditors.
Francesca’s was a women’s fashion and lifestyle retailer that operated 400 locations across the United States.
