Biography
A skilled attorney, Agostino counsels a broad range of clients on complex Chapter 11 and insolvency proceedings.
His experience extends to representing debtors, creditors, trustees, creditors' committees and plan administrators. He also prosecutes, defends and negotiates settlements in preference and other avoidance actions, and is skilled with UCC cases and complex adversary proceedings.
Beyond financial restructuring and bankruptcy, Agostino assists aviation and retail clients with a wide variety of general business, litigation and corporate matters. Over the years, he has represented companies in the airline industry and related manufacturers in general commercial matters in the state and federal courts. His experience includes work on product liability claims involving component parts of planes and helicopters, as well as premises liability claims on behalf of airport management companies.
Fluent in Italian, Agostino is also active with the firm’s Italy Practice Group.
Before Fox Rothschild
Prior to joining Fox Rothschild, Agostino was a bankruptcy associate at a regional law firm. Before that, he focused on litigation defense at a national aviation law boutique firm.
After earning his law degree, Agostino clerked for Judge Louis Sceusi of the Superior Court of New Jersey.
In law school, Agostino was the associate editor for the Seton Hall Circuit Review and earned the ABA/BNA Award for Excellence in Labor & Employment Law, the West Academic Publishing Company Commercial Law Award and the Excellence in Professional Responsibility Award.
Beyond Fox Rothschild
Agostino volunteers with the Special Olympics of New Jersey. He previously volunteered with Achilles International, a global organization that empowers the disabled community to join in running and other sports. He was also a pro bono attorney for Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts.
