Fox Rothschild welcomes J. Peter Shindel, Jr. to the Wilmington, DE office as a partner in the Litigation Department.

“Peter is well known in Delaware for his work handling complex disputes involving business transactions, corporate governance, trusts and estates and fiduciary issues,” said Sidney S. Liebesman, Fox’s Wilmington Office Managing Partner. “His experience working with stockholders, private equity funds and corporate boards and deep knowledge of Delaware law will be a valuable asset to our clients.”

A highly experienced trial lawyer, Shindel represents clients in high-stakes change-of-control, contract, breach of fiduciary duty, corporate, and trusts and estates litigation. He handles cases in state and federal court, at trial and on appeal, as well as in arbitration and mediation.

Shindel earned his J.D. from Yale Law School and his A.B. from Princeton University.

Prior to joining Fox, Shindel was a partner with a Delaware-based firm.
