A testament to her influence in the Los Angeles business community, Heidy Vaquerano was featured on the  Daily Journal's list of 2021 Top Women Lawyers in California, an annual list recognizing the work and leadership of women attorneys in the legal profession.

In an interview with the Daily Journal, Vaquerano talked about blazing a trail in the industry and encouraging young lawyers to do the same.

"There was nobody in my family that helped me forge a path. I did it on sheer intuition. Now there are less than two percent Latina partners at U.S. firms, and I see opportunities to open doors for others. I tell young people, 'I got there and so can you.'"
