Kim Gatling Selected to Business North Carolina’s 2026 Power List
Business North Carolina has named Kimberly Bullock Gatling to its 2026 Power List in recognition of her leadership within the firm and across the broader North Carolina business and civic communities. This is the sixth consecutive year she’s made the list.
Gatling, a Partner in Fox Rothschild’s Intellectual Property Department and the firm’s Chief Cultural Engagement Officer, has helped shape the firm’s efforts to foster an inclusive workplace, while maintaining a robust practice focused on protecting clients’ most valuable innovations and brands.
She is licensed to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the U.S. Supreme Court and is a North Carolina State Bar Board Certified Specialist in Trademarks.
Gatling told Business North Carolina that what she finds most exciting is helping her “clients protect their proprietary technology and trademarks” as they are “important assets for any business.”
Gatling’s influence extends beyond the firm. She was honored with the UNCF Community Impact Award and was inducted into the National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame.
She serves as a director for Culp Inc., a public company headquartered in High Point, NC, and the director of Truliant Federal Credit Union, and she is a member and immediate past chair of the board of trustees at her alma mater, North Carolina A&T State University.
