Biography

Nick helps clients resolve government contract disputes and counsels businesses on legal strategies associated with federal contracting.

He assists federal contractors in claims preparation, prosecution and defense as well as bid protests. Nick has represented contractors before the U.S. Civilian Board of Contract Appeals (CBCA) and the Government Accountability Office (GAO). He also helps clients implement, maintain and improve their federal business ethics and compliance programs.

Nick works with businesses to navigate a full range of government regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and multiple agency-specific FAR Supplements. He also has experience assisting clients in complying with federal cyber security regulations, including FedRAMP and the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC).

Before Fox Rothschild

Nick previously practiced as an Assistant Attorney General in the Government Contracts Section of the DC Office of the Attorney General's Commercial Division.

Following law school, Nick clerked for the U.S. Civilian Board of Contract Appeals. He was a member of the GW Law Moot Court Executive Board and a member of the Public Contract Law Journal. Nick served as a GW Law Dean’s Fellow and won the Pro Bono Service Award for Outstanding Service in the Public Interest.
