Globally, legislators are regularly updating data protection and privacy laws in an (arguably futile) attempt to keep up with changes in technology. During this discussion, panelists will provide an overview of important data protection and privacy concepts, and talk about current state data protection and privacy obligations imposed by global laws and regulations. They will address important, recent legal developments in data protection and privacy, and provide recommendations for complying with challenging and ever-changing data protection and privacy laws.
