Fox Rothschild congratulates Phillip M. Jester, who was selected to the Mecklenburg County Bar Association’s 2026 Bar Leadership Institute (BLI).

Chosen as one of 20 participants, Jester joins a cohort of attorneys who are committed to public service and professional engagement.

The BLI program identifies and develops leaders for the 26th Judicial District Bar, Mecklenburg Bar Association and Foundation. The program offers attorneys with at least three years of experience a chance to build leadership skills, discover leadership roles within the bar and the wider Charlotte community, discuss important issues alongside distinguished peers and presenters and foster lasting relationships with fellow participants.

Jester, an associate in the Charlotte office, works with clients to design taxation and wealth planning strategies tailored to their personal and financial goals. He assists with the creation and implementation of estate planning strategies and helps manage estates, trusts and guardianships. He also litigates fiduciary disputes, including contests of wills, judicial modifications of trusts and conflicts among trustees and beneficiaries.
