Biography
Becky assists the firm's general counsel in providing risk management advice to Fox Rothschild's nationwide network of offices.
In her role as associate general counsel, she applies the rules of professional conduct and other relevant law to identify and resolve conflicts of interest.
She is a key member of the firm's general counsel office, having serving previously as conflicts counsel and lead lateral conflicts counsel, where she played an instrumental role in the integration of attorneys joining any of the firm's 30 offices.
Before Fox Rothschild
Prior to joining Fox, Becky served as conflicts and compliance counsel and intake department manager at Smith Moore Leatherwood, which merged with Fox Rothschild in 2018. She was also previously a staff attorney in the General Counsel Office and a paralegal at an international law firm.
While in law school, she held summer positions at Legal Aid of North Carolina, Women's Resource Center of Greensboro and International Textile Group. She was also a member of Delta Theta Phi Legal Fraternity, serving as Charter Class, Recruiting Co-Chair, and was a Merit Scholar.
Beyond Fox Rothschild
Becky presented on "Subject Matter Conflicts of Interest in Intellectual Property" at IntApp Inception 2017 and on "Data Privacy: What Every IP/Business Paralegal Should Know" at IP Institute for Paralegals 2013.
