Biography
Ryan advises employers on a full range of workplace and labor disputes.
He represents clients in court, in mediation and in arbitration proceedings. Ryan's experience includes individual plaintiff and class-action litigation involving:
- Title VII discrimination
- Harassment
- Retaliation
- Wage and hour controversies
Ryan also provides forward-looking advice to help employers avoid litigation and has represented Fortune 500 clients in union elections and other collective bargaining matters.
Before Fox Rothschild
Prior to joining us, Ryan was a labor and employment associate at an international law firm. He previously practiced at a national firm and at a boutique California firm.
Ryan clerked for California law firms while earning his law degree. He also served as a corporate compliance legal intern for Sony Interactive Entertainment.
At law school, Ryan earned the CALI Award for the highest grade in Wills, Trusts & Estates. A member of the Pepperdine Moot Court Team, Ryan also served as president of the Black Law Students Association. Ryan staffed the Cardozo Public Law, Policy and Ethics Journal for two editions and also twice assisted law professors with their research.
Beyond Fox Rothschild
Ryan provides pro bono assistance through Christian Legal Aid, where he assists individuals who face controversies such as racial and social injustice, landlord-tenant concerns and probate issues.
