Biography

Tomiwa counsels businesses of all sizes on employment compliance matters and represents them in related disputes before federal and state courts, administrative agencies, and in arbitration proceedings.

In her litigation practice, Tomiwa helps clients resolve disputes related to:

  • Alleged wage and hour violations.
  • California Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) claims.
  • Class actions.
  • Discrimination, harassment and retaliation allegations.

Tomiwa works with clients to help strategically mitigate litigation risk and comply with local, state and federal laws. She regularly: 

  • Prepares employment contracts, agreements and employee handbooks.
  • Conducts employee misconduct investigations.
  • Administers in-person training for HR professionals.

Before Fox Rothschild

Tomiwa joined us from a California law firm. She previously practiced at national and boutique firms.

While earning her law degree, Tomiwa clerked for an employment law firm and was a legal extern for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Additionally, she was Senior Articles Editor of a volume of the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law.
