Biography

A former prosecutor, Aaron focuses his practice on financial crimes compliance, representing clients in white-collar defense and civil litigation matters.

He advises clients around the globe in matters involving:

  • White-collar criminal charges
  • Administrative enforcement actions
  • Trade-related due diligence
  • Complex financial disputes
  • Internal investigations
  • Entity list designations
  • Corporate compliance issues

Aaron's practice is informed by his extensive private sector background, which includes overseeing anti-money laundering and sanctions programs for a global investment bank, and his experience as a public prosecutor. In the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, he led numerous investigations and prosecutions of global financial institutions for violations of U.S. sanctions laws. Aaron also served as a trial attorney in the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division, where he prosecuted fraud and price fixing in the municipal bond industry.

Aaron represents clients in state and federal court and also before regulatory and criminal-justice agencies such as the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Before Fox Rothschild

Prior to joining us, Aaron practiced at a global law firm and was a partner at a New York-based litigation firm. 

In addition to his work in the Manhattan District Attorney's Office and the U.S. Department of Justice, Aaron also held senior positions in the Anti-Money Laundering and Economic Sanctions programs of a global investment bank.
