Biography
Aimee counsels clients on a wide variety of complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, refinancing and leasing. She also represents clients in real estate-related litigation.
Developers, buyers, sellers and borrowers rely on Aimee to get deals done, correctly and on time. But Aimee manages to do it all while remaining personable, accessible and well-liked.
With a nuanced understanding of the area’s business and real estate sectors, Aimee represents several residential housing developers across the Southeast. Her experience also extends to the purchase, sale, refinancing and new construction of hotels from Virginia to Florida.
Aimee is particularly skilled with an array of loan transactions, including construction and development loans, CMBS loans, defeasance transactions and private equity lending.
In her litigation practice, Aimee helps navigate issues related to commercial and residential real estate, including mechanic’s lien actions, quiet title actions, partitions and business and real estate disputes.
Aimee also is a title agent for several title insurance companies in South Carolina, including First American, Chicago Title and Fidelity.
At Fox, Aimee serves on our Partnership Advancement Committee as well as the Strategic Growth Committee, which is tasked with continuing our expansion through strategic lateral acquisitions and targeted firm combinations in key markets. She also serves as the Greenville Office’s liaison to our Women’s Initiative Network, which is committed to retaining and advancing women in all roles within the legal profession.
Before Fox Rothschild
Prior to joining Fox, Aimee was an associate at a South Carolina law firm where she handled commercial and residential real estate matters and civil litigation. While in law school, Aimee worked as a student associate at LexisNexis and as a summer associate at two Greenville area law firms.
Beyond Fox Rothschild
Aimee is a member of Greenville Women Giving, a 500+ woman-strong philanthropic organization serving Greenville County, South Carolina. She is also a Palmetto Society member of the United Way of Greenville County and previously served as a Loaned Executive and Corporate Ambassador for the organization.
