Biography

Anthony is a strategic legal adviser who represents businesses of all sizes in complex commercial litigation. 

He advises a broad range of companies in business disputes, particularly technology and energy businesses, working closely with his clients to identify and deliver customized solutions that meet their objectives. He has litigated complex matters from the plaintiff and defense sides from pre-dispute analysis through trial and appeal. Recognizing that most cases settle, Anthony works proactively to resolve disputes through direct negotiation, arbitration or mediation whenever possible. He represents clients in matters involving:

  • Fraud, including securities fraud, misrepresentation and breach of fiduciary duty

  • Represented a software developer in federal litigation of contract and copyright claims arising out of licensing cloud-based clinical trial management software.
  • Represented a software company in California state court regarding contract, fraud, business interference and trade secret claims arising out of a custom project.
  • Represented a software provider in federal litigation for claims of fraud and tortious interference.
  • Completed a three-week bench trial on breach of contract claims arising out of a complex software implementation project in the health care industry.
  • Represented shareholders of a clean energy venture in securities fraud and corporate dissolution proceedings.
  • Defended a clean energy start-up corporation and its CEO against shareholder fraud claims.
  • Defended board members in a corporate governance dispute arising out of the liquidation of an international joint venture in the energy industry.
  • Defended an online retailer against claims of copyright and trademark infringement.
  • Defended a professional fiduciary against breach of fiduciary duty claims in the administration of a California trust.
  • Litigated securities fraud class actions in a mortgage-backed securities case in state and federal courts.

Before Fox Rothschild

Anthony joined us from a national litigation firm. He previously practiced at boutique litigation firms and ran a solo practice.

During law school, Anthony externed for the Honorable Joanne C. Parrilli of the California Court of Appeal. He was also a member of the Intellectual Property Law Bulletin and named to the McAuliffe Honor Society.

Before entering the legal profession, Anthony was the Director of Product Management for a software company.
