The financing clears the way for construction of one of the city’s most significant residential developments currently underway.
Once completed, Alta New River will deliver 400 luxury apartment residences in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale, together with a nine-story parking structure and a full suite of resort-style amenities. Construction is underway, with completion anticipated in 2028.

The transaction underscores continued investment in the South Florida multifamily market and highlights Alta Developers’ commitment to transformative residential projects throughout the region.
The Fox Rothschild team was led by Thomas F. Oppenheimer and included partners John M. Catalano and Bradley S. Rodos, with support from paralegal Maria A. Valentin.
“We are proud to have advised Alta Developers on this important financing,” said Oppenheimer. “The transaction reflects continued demand for high-quality multifamily development in South Florida and demonstrates the ability of experienced sponsors and lenders to execute complex projects in today’s market.”
