Charlie is a member of the firm’s Cannabis Law Practice and has assisted established and growing companies in a variety of transactions and governance matters, including:

• the sale of recreational and medical marijuana licenses and facilities in Massachusetts
• the purchase of two marijuana dispensaries in Illinois
• the sale of two conditional adult-use licenses in Illinois
• capital raising transactions
• drafting various board resolutions
• drafting organizational documents

Health Care Sector
Charlie has extensive experience assisting in major transactions for health care clients, including a $2.1 billion sale of a hospital system to a regional provider and a series of sales of behavioral health facilities to private equity buyers across three states with a transaction total of more than $50 million.

Charlie has also assisted a medical device manufacturer in national and international sales and a medical consulting company in its $25 million sale to private equity buyer.
