Fox Rothschild welcomes Christopher R. Nelson as a Partner in the Litigation Department in the Los Angeles office.

“We are thrilled to welcome Chris to Los Angeles,” said Darrell D. Miller, Fox’s Los Angeles Office Managing Partner. “His strong background handling commercial disputes, corporate governance matters and securities litigation will deepen our bench in California.”

Nelson develops creative solutions to help solve his clients' disputes. He guides them through all stages of the process, from inception through trial or arbitration and appeals.

He represents corporate clients in commercial disputes, corporate governance lawsuits and securities litigation.

Nelson also defends creditors’ rights in bankruptcy-related litigation. He has successfully helped creditors preserve their rights by objecting to Chapter 11 plans and opposing attempts by debtors and trustees to reduce millions of dollars of his clients’ claims. He also represents clients in adversary proceedings in bankruptcy courts.

Nelson earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and his B.A. from the University of Arizona.

Prior to joining Fox, Nelson was a partner with Epport Richman & Robbins, LLP.
