A highly respected leader in the industry, Darrell D. Miller was named the 2021 Entertainment Lawyer of the Year by the Century City Bar Association.

The Bar Association’s coveted Lawyers of the Year awards recognize attorneys in six practice areas who “have distinguished themselves not only as being among the most accomplished lawyers in their respective fields of expertise, but as leaders in Southern California's law and business community” said CCBA President Lori Werderitch.

"This year's honorees have set examples not only for legal excellence, but for dedication to the entire legal community,” added Nina Hong, President-Elect of the CCBA.

Miller, founding chair of Fox Rothschild’s national Entertainment & Sports Law practice, is among the most influential and highly regarded attorneys in the entertainment industry. He is widely known as a strategic and effective brand builder, advising a growing list of celebrities and executives in career-defining deals. Miller represents A-listers including Angela Bassett, Courtney B. Vance, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges and Reginald Hudlin, as well as rising talents such as Da'Vine Joy Randolph, Moses Ingram and Teyona Parris. While navigating an unprecedented year in Hollywood, Miller has served as a leading voice on issues of social justice and racial equity in the entertainment industry and as a fierce advocate for BIPOC artists, actors and executives. In the past year, he engineered a series of significant deals, including representing the NAACP in its groundbreaking, multi-year content agreement with CBS Television and Hudlin in his deal to serve as the first Black executive producer of the Emmy® Awards.

Over his powerhouse career, Miller has earned a long list of industry accolades.
