Biography
Elizabeth is an experienced litigator who represents businesses involved in a variety of employment disputes, including discrimination, retaliation, breach of contract and wrongful termination claims. She has represented clients in state and federal court, and has experience in arbitration, mediation and other forms of dispute resolution, as well as with agency charges and investigations.
Elizabeth also counsels employers with respect to hiring practices, background checks, employee handbooks, employee discipline and termination practices, employment and contractor agreements, and restrictive covenants, including non-compete, non-solicitation and non-disclosure agreements.
Beyond employment law, Elizabeth has broad commercial litigation experience involving a range of business issues, including ownership disagreements, payment demands and matters involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and deceptive trade practices.
Before Fox Rothschild
Prior to joining Fox Rothschild, Elizabeth was partner at a North Carolina law firm. During law school, she was a judicial intern for the Honorable Cheri Beasley and the Honorable Donna Stroud of the North Carolina Court of Appeals, and was also a contributing editor to UNC Chapel Hill's North Carolina Law Review.
Elizabeth worked in the banking and finance industry for several years before attending law school.
