Ethan concentrates his practice on cooperative and condominium law, representing boards, managing agents and other real estate clients in New York.

He advises cooperatives and condominiums on governance, operations and transactional matters, including amendments to declarations, house rules, bylaws, proprietary leases and other governing documents. Ethan handles AIA agreements, alteration agreements, management agreements, commercial leases and a broad range of other agreements. He also assists with obtaining financing and refinancing.

Ethan has extensive experience representing both licensors and licensees in connection with the drafting and negotiation of access agreements under New York's Real Property Actions and Proceedings Law (RPAPL § 881), especially in connection with mandatory Local Law 11 façade work.
