This webinar presentation will address the Government’s increasing use of Innovative Procurement Methods, including Other Transaction Authority (“OTA”) agreements, Commercial Solutions Openings ("CSOs"), and Collaborative Delivery Methods ("CDMs") and how contractors can benefit from these kind of procurements. These innovative procurement methods differ from traditional project delivery methods such as design-build, design-bid-build, CM at Risk, and the like, and continue to gain traction with federal agencies in the A/E and construction arenas due to their flexibility, lack of mandatory requirements, and the ability to maximize participation and collaboration among the key stakeholders.

Learning Objectives:

  • Attendees will understand the purpose and scope for the use of OTAs, CSOs, and CDMs by federal agencies;
  • Attendees will understand how to find, compete for, and negotiate contracts for OTA, CSO, and CDM opportunities;
  • Attendees will understand the operational and legal pitfalls that come with the use of OTAs, CSOs, and CDMs.
