Biography

A member of the firm's Litigation Department, Gerald represents public and private entities in a broad range of commercial, entertainment, and real property matters and disputes.

With a broad business law background, Gerald assists clients with litigation involving titles to land, garnishments and landlord/tenant disputes, as well as land use and zoning matters. He also provides counsel on probate matters, construction statutes, breach of commercial and investment contracts, and copyright and trademark registration and infringement.

His transactional experience includes handling non-disclosure agreements, settlement agreements, intergovernmental contracts and intellectual property licensing agreements.

  • Obtained a $900,000.00 judgment for investor in Ponzi scheme case in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
  • Obtained a $1 million judgment for merchant card payment processing service company in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia.
  • Facilitated tax sale redemption for tax servicing company.
  • Obtained dismissal of counterclaims and facilitated favorable $1.1 million settlement for financial and loan servicing client.
  • Served as outside counsel to Hapeville, Georgia, assisting with a variety of legal matters and litigation.
  • Facilitated sign variance for institutional client.
  • Facilitated a widely contested, high-profile conditional use permit for Rick Ross’ Second Annual Car Show.

Before Fox Rothschild

Prior to joining Fox, Gerald was an associate attorney at law firms in Atlanta and McDonough, Georgia. He served as outside counsel to Hapeville, Georgia, assisting with a variety of legal matters and litigation.

While in law school, he served as a summer law clerk at the Federal Trade Commission: Bureau of Consumer Protection and a legal intern for the American Rivers Nonprofit Corporation.
