Biography

Jennifer concentrates her commercial litigation practice in the technology and transportation sectors, representing businesses that operate app-based technology and marketplace platforms in the gig economy, as well as autonomous vehicle companies.

She provides practical legal advice to clients on crafting and executing strategies for defending high-volume, business sensitive litigation with a focus on creating efficiencies, reducing legal spend and maximizing opportunities to create favorable legal precedent.

Jennifer has litigated matters of first impression in state and federal courts while acting as national coordinating counsel in matters involving independent contractor designations and the enforcement of online terms and conditions, including compelling arbitration. In addition, she advises clients on weighing and mitigating the legal effects of key business decisions, such as the formulation of internal policies and structural insurance selections. She is experienced in leading teams of lawyers and managing all stages of commercial litigation, including drafting dispositive motions and handling voluminous discovery. Jennifer has also advised companies regarding their terms of service, including ways to strengthen and enforce consumer-facing arbitration agreements.

Before Fox Rothschild

Prior to joining Fox Rothschild, Jennifer practiced for several years at an international law firm. Before that, she worked as an associate at a Philadelphia-based Am Law 100 firm and at a mid-sized Pittsburgh-based firm. After law school, she clerked for the Honorable D. Michael Fisher on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit.
