Our team provides guidance and representation in:

  • Anti-Counterfeiting & Brand Enforcement

We are adept at handling litigation and investigations arising from counterfeiting and related claims for trademark and copyright infringement, cybersquatting, false advertising and unfair competition. We have extensive experience handling misappropriation of trade secrets and confidential information claims.

  • Corporate

Fox attorneys have a wealth of experience handling mergers, acquisitions and stock and asset transfers for manufacturers. We immerse ourselves in our clients’ businesses to provide critical guidance and assist with routine matters such as drafting and reviewing contracts; preparing and negotiating management, licensing and distribution agreements; and advising on securities and private financing. We also closely track changes in federal and state tax law, new legislation, administrative announcements, regulations and case law, to provide clients with cogent, up-to-date business counsel and ensure transactions are properly structured from an economic, legal and tax perspective.

  • Cybersecurity

Our Privacy & Data Security team works with manufacturers to combat cybersecurity threats and maintain compliance with a growing list of state, national and international data privacy laws. We help clients prevent data breaches, and respond effectively if they do occur.

  • Employment

Our nationwide Labor & Employment law team helps manufacturers prevent and solve workforce issues. We draft and audit workplace policy and procedures, conduct training and when necessary, represent clients in litigation. Our labor attorneys advise on noncompete and nonsolicitation agreements, employment agreements, wrongful terminations, disability discrimination, FMLA compliance and accommodation issues, wage and hour collective actions and EEOC charges.

We ensure manufacturers remain in compliance with environmental regulations and anticipate future requirements. Fox attorneys advise clients on solid waste, wastewater discharge and air emissions compliance and guide companies facing complex litigation involving toxic torts, air pollution and other claims. We also partner with clients on proactive endeavors designed to reduce environmental impact.

Manufacturers can benefit from state and local government economic development incentives designed to help them expand or relocate their businesses. We work with clients to access these incentives and ensure incentive agreements are structured to provide maximum benefit.
