Julia is a recognized leader within the family law community, her firm and the broader legal profession. In 2021 she was elected by her fellow partners at Fox Rothschild to serve a three-year term as an At-Large member on the firm's Executive Committee.

She has held multiple leadership positions with the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the Philadelphia Bar Association and has been recognized for her work by multiple organizations.
