Biography
Kasey is an experienced litigator, focusing on corporate and commercial litigation before the Delaware state courts and the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.
Kasey has represented clients in disputes involving:
- Breach of contracts
- Directors’ and officers’ liability
- Shareholder and partnership disputes
- Books and records demands and actions
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Dissolution proceedings
- Summary proceedings under the Delaware General Corporation Law
- Employment and non-competition agreements
- Insurance coverage
- Commercial construction litigation
- Commercial landlord-tenant disputes
- Wrongful death and negligence
Kasey also handles condemnation and eminent domain matters between government entities and private property owners.
In addition to her litigation practice, Kasey has experience with matters before the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, involving general creditor representation, disputed commercial lease rejections, claims objections and other various bankruptcy proceedings. Kasey also has experience representing clients in family law matters before the Family Court of the state of Delaware.
Before Fox Rothschild
Kasey was a summer associate at Fox Rothschild, where she provided research and other assistance related to family law, real estate, corporate, and trusts and estate matters.
She also previously served as a law clerk at a law firm in Wilmington and as a Spanish interpreter at a firm in Allentown, PA.
Beyond Fox Rothschild
Kasey is a volunteer guardian ad litem with the Delaware Office of the Child Advocate. She is an avid runner and has completed the Boston, Philadelphia and Richmond marathons.
