New mental health parity regulations are on the way. At the same time, the DOL has ramped up mental health parity audits and Fortune 500 companies are lining up to complete consultant mental health parity evaluations. This panel will examine the mental health parity caselaw, discuss the pleading standards and outline what to expect from the new regulations. The panel will also discuss the pros and cons of conducting a mental health parity evaluation in advance of receiving a knock on the door from the DOL and will dive into what to expect during a DOL investigation. The panel will also touch on state responses to the Wit decision.
