Biography

Mackenzie focuses her practice on real estate and land use matters in Delaware, guiding clients through acquisitions, leasing arrangements and commercial transactions.

She drafts and reviews contracts, conducts title work, and manages lender documentation and the full arc of pre-closing and post-closing processes to keep deals moving smoothly.

In her land use practice, Mackenzie represents developers and property owners seeking approvals for subdivisions, zoning changes, conditional uses, variances and special use exceptions throughout Delaware. Drawing on her deep understanding of local regulatory frameworks and strong local connections, she develops practical strategies that align client and project goals with the requirements of local governments.

Mackenzie also brings an environmental perspective to her work, holding an Advanced Certificate in Environmental Law and early-career experience in environmental consulting.

Before Fox Rothschild

Before joining us, Mackenzie was an associate in the real estate department of a national law firm. Before that, she practiced at firms in Lewes and Rehoboth Beach, DE.

Beyond Fox Rothschild

Mackenzie serves on the Board of the Committee of 100 in Wilmington and is a Trustee and Executive Committee Member of the Sussex County Land Trust, where she also sits on the Land Acquisition and Property Management Committees. She is a longtime member of the Village Improvement Association in Rehoboth Beach.
