Fox Rothschild welcomes Elizabeth Baksh as a Partner in the Litigation Department in the firm's New York office.

“Liz is a seasoned litigator who has successfully guided clients through complex commercial, real estate and construction disputes, as well as high-stakes investigations and class actions,” said E. Bradley Gould, Fox’s New York Office Managing Partner. “Her experience across a broad range of litigation matters, combined with her practical approach to problem-solving, will be a tremendous asset to our clients. We are thrilled to welcome her to the firm.”

Baksh represents clients in high-stakes commercial and real estate disputes, class actions and government investigations. She counsels real estate investors, property owners, landlords, property managers, builders, commercial tenants and other parties in matters involving lease enforcement, property rights and related commercial issues.

She also has extensive experience in construction litigation, representing contractors in court and arbitration proceedings involving major construction delay and defect claims, mechanic's liens and other complex disputes.

Baksh's broad litigation practice includes defending lenders against predatory lending and consumer protection claims, insurers in ERISA underpayment suits and federal parity law class actions, and food and beverage companies in false labeling litigation. She has also handled employment litigation and white collar defense matters and has successfully negotiated resolutions in multimillion-dollar disputes.

Baksh earned her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and her B.A. from New York University.

Prior to joining Fox, Baksh was a partner at Dorsey & Whitney.
