Fox Rothschild will open a Fort Lauderdale office in August, expanding its Florida presence to four locations.

Led by Scott D. Knapp, who joined the firm in May, the new office, located at Broward Financial Centre (500 East Broward Boulevard), will house a team with a broad range of corporate transactional and litigation experience.

“Florida continues to be one of the fastest growing markets, with the demand for real estate, construction and corporate work on the rise,” said Dianna G. With the addition of the office in Fort Lauderdale, along with existing locations in Miami, West Palm Beach and Sarasota, the Fox platform will extend to 31 locations nationwide with 49 attorneys in Florida.

Knapp is a seasoned trial lawyer whose practice focuses on complex business and healthcare litigation with an emphasis on high-stakes disputes involving professional liability, products liability, consumer protection, financial services and real estate.
