Fox Rothschild congratulates Edward J. Hayes on his appointment as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Center School located in Abington, Pennsylvania.

In this new role, Hayes will provide guidance and leadership to the school in fulfilling its mission to provide children who learn differently with a personalized education so that they are able to realize their potential and reshape the way they view themselves and their future.

“Center School was instrumental in helping two of my grandchildren who were struggling to learn at a traditional Quaker school due to dyslexia and ADHD,” said Hayes. “The school saved their educational lives by teaching them the strategies needed to overcome the challenges students with dyslexia and ADHD face in the traditional classroom setting. Since that time, I have been committed to help the school make a Center School education available to more students who face the same challenges that my grandchildren did.”

Mindy Wawrzyniak, Center School’s Head of School, commented, “Ed’s dedication to Center School is unwavering. Ed first joined our community as a grandparent of two Center School students. Seeing the impact of Center School’s education on the success of his grandchildren prompted Ed to become more involved. He joined our Board and was quickly elevated to Vice Chairman. I am pleased that he has accepted the nomination to now serve as Chairman. His clear insight and leadership, coupled with his commitment to the success of Center School through his incredible fundraising efforts, have been instrumental in securing Center School as the premiere school in the tri-state area for students with language-based learning disabilities. I thank him for his continued belief in our mission.”
