Fox Rothschild attorney R. Taylor Speer has been reappointed by City Council as a member of the Green Ribbon Advisory Committee for the City of Greenville, which advises on the development of programs and initiatives including the Sustainability and Climate Action Plan aimed at reducing the City's environmental impact.

The committee currently focuses on Energy and Buildings, Mobility, Natural Systems and Recycling and Waste Management.

Counsel in the Energy & Natural Resources Practice at Fox, Speer advises and litigates for clients on renewable energy matters. He has represented a diverse group of energy sector clients, including major ratepayers, solar developers and special interests, in multiday trials before the South Carolina Public Service Commission. He also appeared in Duke Energy's first-ever fully-litigated Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) trial in South Carolina and represented a public entity in its proposed development of utility-scale solar.
