Biography
Chair of the firm's Health Care Transactions Practice Group and Co-Chair of the Health Law Practice, Robert is a seasoned corporate and health law attorney who helps clients throughout the United States close industry-leading health care transactions.
Robert represents large medical practices, publicly traded companies and their subsidiaries, private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, private investors, and health care services entities nationwide in a variety of transactions. That includes leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, strategic transactions, joint ventures and other corporate matters. He also advises founders, management teams and executives on sale transactions.
Board-Certified as a specialist in Health Law by the Florida Bar, Robert leads a knowledgeable team with the skills and experience it takes to complete the health care due diligence and regulatory compliance aspects of transactions, as well as provide advice on their acquisition and financing components.
Robert has spent 20 years focusing on acquisitions and sales of medical practices. He has helped clients successfully complete health care services transactions in a broad range of physician specialties including anesthesia, primary care, dermatology, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, dental, orthopedics, urology, radiology, emergency department, concierge medicine and multi-specialty. He also handles structuring and development of provider-affiliated group practices.

He is Managing Partner of the Sarasota office and is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.
