Biography
Vanessa handles a diverse practice focused on environmental law, regulatory compliance and complex litigation. She advises and represents a global leader in the chemical manufacturing industry in high-stakes environmental litigation and regulatory compliance matters, as well as a broad range of clients in the real estate, manufacturing and corporate sectors.
Her experience includes managing all phases of discovery in complex environmental disputes, with a particular emphasis on document review, analysis of technical reports, and preparation of expert materials for litigation involving water pollution, site remediation and regulatory enforcement. Vanessa coordinates closely with expert witnesses, technical consultants and internal teams to develop and execute legal strategies addressing regulatory enforcement actions, operational compliance and environmental assessments.
In addition to her litigation and regulatory work, Vanessa also conducts environmental review of real estate and commercial transactions for redevelopers and property owners. She stays up to date on regulatory matters involving emerging contaminants, particularly per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and is a contributor to the firm’s PFAS and Emerging Contaminants blog.
