Biography

Carly focuses her practice on employment litigation, defending employers in federal and California state courts and in arbitration against the full range of fair employment claims, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, disability accommodation and wrongful termination.

Carly also defends employers facing wage and hour claims, including unpaid regular and overtime wages, meal period and rest break violations, paystub violations, minimum wage violations and waiting time penalties. Carly handles all phases of litigation, and defends both single plaintiff and class or collective action matters.

In addition to her litigation practice, Carly counsels employers on a wide range of employment matters, including harassment prevention, disability compliance, wage and hour issues, and personnel policies to help clients maintain legal compliance and reduce litigation risk.

Before Fox Rothschild

While earning her law degree, Carly served as a judicial extern to the Honorable William F. Fahey of Los Angeles Superior Court. She additionally competed on the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court team and worked in the Youth Justice Education Clinic, where she advocated for foster youth involved in educational and juvenile justice proceedings.

While an undergraduate, Carly interned in the press office of Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren. After graduation, she performed an AmeriCorps service term with the American Red Cross in Los Angeles.
