Fox Rothschild Earns Multiple Distinctions in Pennsylvania Legal Awards
Fox Rothschild celebrates its selection as a Law Firm of the Year finalist in The Legal Intelligencer and Law.com’s Pennsylvania Legal Awards. In the highly competitive award series, five attorneys were also recognized as honorees or finalists.
Mark L. Morris, Co-Chair of the Firm, was named a Lifetime Achievement Award winner. Now in his second term guiding the firm, Morris has held several leadership roles throughout his 30-year tenure at Fox. He previously served as Firmwide Managing Partner, Managing Partner of the firm’s Philadelphia office, Chair of the Real Estate Department and Chair of the Hospitality Practice. Under his direction as Firmwide Managing Partner and Firm Chair, the firm opened 10 new offices and in the last year launched several new service areas, including Fintech & Digital Assets, Artificial Intelligence, Investment Fund Formation & Management, and Cooperative & Condominium Law, among others. He also strengthened the C-suite to include roles focused on innovation, AI, growth, client operations and administrative services. Morris was part of the leadership team that launched Generation Fox, a nationwide charitable initiative dedicated to empowering youth and strengthening communities and founded the firm’s “Beyond School Walls” program, a Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring initiative that brings Philadelphia students into the workplace for one-on-one mentoring.
Michael G. Menkowitz, Co-Chair of the Firm, was named a Distinguished Leader winner. For 35 years, Menkowitz has built a leading bankruptcy and restructuring practice and is ranked by Chambers USA among the top practitioners in Pennsylvania. This year, Menkowitz took the helm as Firm Co-Chair, where he jointly oversees all firm operations with Morris, working with leadership, business professionals and Office Managing Partners to advance firm objectives. He is a founder of the firm’s growing Automotive Practice and previously chaired the nationwide Financial Restructuring & Bankruptcy Department. Menkowitz, who also served as Philadelphia Office Managing Partner, has led the firm’s nationwide support of Ronald McDonald House, transforming his dedication as a board member into a broader initiative that reflects the firm’s commitment to youth empowerment.
Sharon Oras Morgan, Managing Partner of the Wilmington office and national Co-Chair of the Environmental Law Department, was named a finalist in the Delaware Excellence Attorney of the Year category. For more than three decades, Morgan has counseled clients on complex environmental transactional and litigation matters. She has twice served as Chair of the Environmental Law Section of the Delaware Bar Association. She is a member of the American Bar Association’s Environmental Litigation Committee and Subcommittee of Women Environmental Litigators, the Society of Women Environmental Professionals of Greater Philadelphia, and the Environmental Committees of the Committee of 100, Delaware State Chamber of Commerce, and the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey. Morgan is committed to paying it forward by mentoring young attorneys, law students and others in the legal and environmental-related professions. She also volunteers her time via appointments through the Delaware Division of Family Services, representing children in need of representation in family court disputes.
Peter J. Tucci, Co-Chair of the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice and Chair of the International Practice, was named a finalist in the Most Effective Dealmakers category. Ranked among Pennsylvania’s leading corporate attorneys by Chambers & Partners, Tucci has played a leading role in over 300 M&A transactions throughout his career, including four major deals in 2025. Recently, he led a Fox team that advised Ergo, a technology-enabled geopolitical and strategic intelligence firm in a significant investment by L Squared Capital Partners. He also represented Kelley Austin, LLC, an award-winning Salesforce consulting partner in its sale to Perficient, a global consultancy. The President of the Republic of France, Jacques Chirac, previously bestowed upon Peter the title of Chevalier (Knight) of the French Legion of Honor. The French Legion of Honor, which was established by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1802, recognizes eminent service to the Republic of France and is the country's most prestigious award.
Gina M. Lombardo, an associate in the Labor & Employment Department, was named a finalist in the Most Promising Newcomer category. Lombardo began her career as a Summer Associate at Fox and now advises employers navigating workplace policy, labor management relations and litigation matters. She sits on the Editorial Board of The Philadelphia Lawyer and volunteers and serves as Pro Bono Labor Counsel to Philadelphia VIP, supporting low-income Philadelphians. Lombardo is also an active member of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Council, the Philadelphia Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
