Biography
Sam assists clients in the sports and entertainment industry with a variety of contractual matters, including name, image and likeness (NIL) sponsorship deals, and album, television and movie clearances. He also supports litigation and arbitration matters, including those involving the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA).
In addition, Sam has experience advising sports, entertainment and corporate clients on immigration and general corporate law issues. He has counseled colleges, universities and collectives on compliance with NCAA regulations, with a focus on NIL rule adherence.
Sam is also a contributor to Fox Rothschild's Sports and Entertainment Law blog.
Before Fox Rothschild
Sam previously served as an assistant quarterback coach at Penn State University.
He also previously served as a law clerk for a regional law firm and as a judicial intern for the Honorable Gary Gilman and the Honorable Jordan Yeager of the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas.
Sam co-founded Temple Law School's Sports Negotiation Team.
Beyond Fox Rothschild
An avid football fan, Sam publishes analytically driven articles and podcasts about the Philadelphia Eagles.
He also developed a statistical algorithm that projects NFL player salaries, which was designed to assist both teams and player agents in contract negotiations.
Sam has also served as a panelist on NIL topics alongside industry experts.
