The Law Firm of the Year award recognizes firms that have “had a stellar year in the New Jersey legal community.” With over 125 attorneys across Atlantic City, Morristown and Princeton, Fox Rothschild maintains a strong presence in the Garden State. The team achieved standout results in several multibillion-dollar matters across life sciences, gaming, litigation and finance while using its strong New Jersey foundation to advance meaningful community impact through Generation Fox.

Led by Co-Chairs Marie Jiacopello Jones and C.J. Fisher, the Gaming Department advises on major casino, sports betting and online gaming matters across the United States and more than 23 countries. This year the team guided clients including Hard Rock International, MGM Resorts International and Sportradar, and other industry leaders, through significant licensing, compliance and multibillion-dollar transactions.

The Real Estate Department, led by New Jersey-based Co-Chair Robert A. Klausner, handled more than $1 billion in transactions for clients including Woodmont Properties, Saxum Real Estate Partners and The Hampshire Companies, among others. The team advanced major residential, industrial, logistics and mixed-use projects across New Jersey and key national markets.

Joe Chen, Ph.D., an Intellectual Property partner in our Princeton office, brings advanced scientific degrees and more than a decade of drug discovery experience to his patent strategy and life sciences practice. Over the past year, he guided CSPC Pharmaceuticals Group Ltd. through its $18.5 billion licensing agreement with AstraZeneca — the largest life sciences licensing deal announced to date in 2026.

Paul W. Kalish, an Intellectual Property partner in our Princeton office, handles complex IP litigation involving patents, trade secrets and trademarks in U.S. District Courts across the country, where he has secured favorable resolutions and guided clients through high-stakes disputes involving a range of products and technologies including pharmaceuticals, mechanical devices and life sciences. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Meals on Wheels of Mercer County.

Jordan B. Kaplan, a Litigation partner in the Morristown office, represents businesses in a broad range of commercial litigation and regulatory defense matters. He currently serves on the Civil Practice Committee for the Union County Bar Association.

Julius J. Suarez, a Real Estate and Corporate partner in the Morristown office, advises clients on the acquisition, disposition, leasing and financing of commercial real estate, with hundreds of millions of dollars in recent transactions spanning industrial, retail, mixed-use and multifamily projects.
