Biography
William advises clients on corporate matters, including formation, governance, commercial contracts, and mergers and acquisitions.
He holds the Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA) designation from the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors, giving him additional experience in structuring and executing middle-market deals. He focuses on helping closely held and family-owned businesses, investors, platform companies and other sponsor-backed firms navigate ownership transitions and liquidity events.
William is passionate about dealmaking and takes pride in delivering a personalized client experience. He combines rigorous attention to detail with clear, practical communication so clients feel supported at every stage of the deal.
William counsels clients in a wide range of commercial transactions, compliance matters, and documentation, including financing and security agreements, stock and asset purchase agreements, ownership transitions and redemptions, business succession planning and restructuring, due diligence and governance reviews, and buy-side and sell-side M&A.
Before Fox Rothschild
Before joining us, William practiced at a boutique law firm, where he worked on corporate, commercial and M&A matters for closely held businesses, platform companies and other sponsor-backed firms. While in law school, he was a legal extern and compliance associate intern for a national bank, gaining insight into lending, regulatory and risk considerations that now inform his transaction work.
At Penn State Law, William contributed to a professor's publication, Corporate Valuation in M&A, and was published on the Penn State Law blog, Journal of Law and International Affairs. William was the Regional Treasurer for the Mid-Atlantic Region of the National Black Law Students Association and a Volunteer Income Tax Assistant.
