Biography
Alberto is a litigator who represents clients in state and federal courts in employment disputes and a range of complex civil proceedings. He is particularly experienced in cases involving the First Amendment and freedom of speech.
He has successfully litigated and resolved claims for defamation, defamation by implication, and false light on behalf of individuals and media defendants. Licensed to practice in Florida, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Alberto divides his time between our Blue Bell, PA and Miami, FL offices.
Alberto also defends employers in various employment-related disputes arising under state and federal law, including claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act, Title VII, Americans with Disabilities Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act and Pennsylvania Criminal History Records Information Act.
Before Fox Rothschild
Prior to joining Fox Rothschild, Alberto gained significant experience with a regional firm, where he focused on the defense of health care providers in professional liability claims. Before that, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Justice Lee A. Solomon of the Supreme Court of New Jersey and completed a judicial internship with the Honorable Judge Thomas L. Ambro of the United States Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit.
Beyond Fox Rothschild
Alberto is a member of the Media Law Resource Center’s Next Generation Committee, which is dedicated to the development of young lawyers with an interest in media law and defamation practice.
He serves as an arbitration panelist with the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. He is also a member of the Widener University Delaware Law School Delaware Journal of Corporate Law Alumni Mentoring Program, where he gives talks on topics, including about bar preparation. Alberto is a former member of the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lehigh Valley and served on the Governance Committee.
